Awesome Audio Dramas
The Leviathan Chronicles
_The Leviathan Chronicles! One of my favorite Audio Dramas of the modern age. Written and directed by some really hilarious and talented guys, Christof Laputka and Nobi Nakanishi, this is a modern-day sci-fi, adventure/drama involving an original storyline, music, and phenomenal voice actors, that takes you from battles in the sky, mountain tops, land and the deepest depths of the ocean! Also includes aliens, immortals, mutants, and some niffy technology. Season One and Two special edition episodes are now available. Catch up before the new Season Two drop!
From the Leviathan site: "The Leviathan Chronicles is a revolutionary science fiction audio drama podcast featuring the voices of over 60 actors, professional sound effects and an original music soundtrack. There are 25 episodes in Season 1 all available for FREE, and 4 special edition episodes for $2.99 each. Season 2 is now available on iTunes.
"The story is centered around a hidden city called Leviathan that lies deep within the dark trenches of the Pacific Ocean. The city is home to a community of immortals that sought to create a utopia over 1,000 years ago. For a millennia, they lived in peace and secrecy, gently influencing world events to aid the advancement of mankind. But a terrible secret has been kept deep within the catacombs of Leviathan that threatens the existence of the immortals, and quite possibly the entire world.
"One woman named Macallan Orsel, a young genetic scientist in New York, discovers she is descended from a group of immortals that rebelled against Leviathan and are now waging a civil war around the globe. As the immortal war spills into the realm of mortal man, Macallan realizes that she holds the key to stopping the battle and bringing peace to Leviathan. But a clandestine government agency called The Blackdoor Group is trying to exterminate the immortal population and has identified Macallan as their critical target."

Legends and Destiny: The Orbs of Taykato
The battle between Ry'Ugure and Machi, and Soper and Sophronia has been waged. But in the aftermath, there is no winner, only chaos. In an attempt to help his own, Taykato has given the Norm nine orbs, each containing a fragment of his power. Children of the Gods
This sci-fi audio drama revolves around the ship and crew of the Vengeance. Earth has been ravaged by man's mistakes and by the failed invasion of an alien species, the Tarthet. Hundreds of years in the future, as man has moved his home into space, Earth and mankind is once again threatened by a Tarthet invasion. However, things get weird as one of the aliens is captured and builds a unique bond with one of the Vengeance's crew.

Star Trek: Starship Excelsior
Obviously, a science fiction (unless you've been living under a rock for the past 50-60 years and have no clue what Star Trek is!). Not sure where this fits within the Star Trek universe, quite some time after ST:TNG I believe. A fan based audio drama, this is the adventures of the starship Excelsior and her crew, past and present. Very drama heavy and oriented, yet they did a great job with bringing everything together in the middle. Includes a major presence of the Scions of the Stars, the Borg and even the Blue Gills.

Star Wars: In the Shadows
Of course I love this one! It's Star Wars! Who wouldn't?! A sci-fi mini drama: "Born and raised in a military family, Emma Wermis will slowly discover that the Empire is not what she always been taught it was. Her allegiance to the Empire will be tested and she will, during her adventures, uncover something about her family and a secret weapon kept hidden even within the Empire." This action/adventure includes Prince Xizor and his Black Sun organization, guest appearances by Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader. There's space battles, aliens, sabacc, a long-lost jedi. . . everything you've come to love about Star Wars!

Star Trek: Outpost
Another great fan-based Star Trek audio drama. This is about the adventures of the outpost, Deep-Space Station 3, the starship Chimera, and the crew that man both. Lots of great characterization and aliens in this Star Trek adventure. Multiple storylines involving major and minor characters, some who come and go, some who stay, woven together, creates an almost space opera feel to this audio drama.

Wing Commander: Defiant Few
A new, fan made audio drama based in the Wing Commander universe by Richard Paul.
The ever uneasy peace of Gemini sector is destroyed when the Nephilim begin a full scale invasion, with their first target being Perry Naval Base. It is left to Admiral Sandra Goodin and the piecemeal forces at her command to stop the considerably larger alien armada and safeguard the lives of the millions of civilians in Gemini.
If they fail to somehow turn back the colossal Nephilim tide, nothing will stop it from destroying Earth.
