I've been pretty busy, and it's all been good. As the newest member of the audio drama, "Starship: Excelsior", I finished my first time around as Line Auditor. Let me say, it was fun, a lot easier than I thought it would be, and more than interesting listening to some of the voice actors and their small bloopers than I thought it would be. I'm already excited to hear the full episode with all the scenes and sound-scapes put together. I'm also waiting for James Heaney to hurry and write the next episode!
As far as writing is concerned. . . "Legends and Destiny: In the Beginning" has been accepted for publication by Whiskey Creek Press! Thank you so much to everyone on that team for accepting me and my work!
I have been working on scripts for two audio dramas of my own. One is an original which will be the direct sequel to "LandD:ITB". This I am hoping to be ready to cast for parts at the end of summer. . . and releasing the first episode one week after the release of "LandD:ITB" (if all goes according to plan!). The second audio drama, which I will be casting for within the next week, is a direct fan-work based off of the game, "Final Fantasy VII". Since I doubt Square Enix will ever make a more modern redo of the game, I feel it is necessary to bring this fantasy/sci-fi world to more life myself. It has always been my #1 favorite game, and I will always have fun memories based on this game ever since I first played it. . . well, too many years ago now! I plan on casting for voice and production parts sometime in the next week.
Back to writing. . . besides working on the audio drama scripts, I have gone back to working on the second draft of "Orphans of War" and re-writing the first book I self-published, "Legends and Destiny: Shonga", for Whiskey Creek Press' consideration. Hoping to have both of these books done and ready by the end of summer.
As far as everything else in my life is concerned, still working hard with my dogs and horses; got my garden planted; still working hard as a respite care worker for my cousin; still trying to enjoy life as much as one can when one is so busy!
Oh, and please be on the lookout for Whiskey Creek Press' release of my friend's , Alastair J. Archibald, seventh book in the "Chronicles of Grimm Dragonblaster" series! I was starting to doubt if he'd ever release it. . . but
Till next time!
